Tunnel Beach

Diese Fotos sind schon vor einigen Wochen entstanden –nicht das Ihr den Eindruck bekommt, es wäre für Mitteleuropäer noch möglich hier in T-Shirt rumzurennen...
Dieser Bericht ist also einer der angekündigten Nachträge und zwar über: Tunnel Beach!
Der hat sogar nen Wikipedia-Eintrag:
“Tunnel Beach is a beach to the southwest of Dunedin, New Zealand. Beyond the beauty of the rugged cliffs, its claim to fame is the tunnel down to the actual beach that a local politician and later Mayor of the city, Edward Bowes Cargill, had had built for his family at the end of the 19th century.” Die Geschichte ist ganz cool, oder?
Auf jeden Fall ist der Strand unwahrscheinlich schön und halt nur durch diesen Tunnel erreichbar. Den Ausflug habe ich mit Eva und Trent, einem Bekannten von ihr aus Queenstown, unternommen.
